Wakefield Park Update.
Effective 13th July 2022, the Land and Environment Court NSW has handed Wakefield Park the worst news possible. It can only operate four days per month moving forward.
This decision is not rescindable, and attached are the LEC decision and docs in full.
This decision will profoundly affect everyone who plays a part at this glorious track, not forgetting the broader community of Goulburn who rely on the income generated from those frequenting Wakefield Park.
This substantial loss will negatively impact so many in the community.
We await the next steps from Benalla Auto Club in the continued fight for Wakefield Park as they work closely with the Stakeholders, Goulburn Mulwaree Council and the community.
Rest assured, Wakefield Park will do all it can to develop an alternative operating solution.
So, where does this leave us?
We are working closely with Wakefield Park to assist where required, plus for our October 30th date to be one of the four operating days in October 2022. We remain quietly confident.
What can you do?
Get proactive, not reactive.
It’s time to contact Ministers and shadow Ministers, local members, those personalities with influence, those friends you know who have the details of someone who can help. And don’t forget your Linkedin and business contacts too.

Wakefield Park has been our happy place for the last 15 years, and the Track Day Club team, Participants, and Supporters will be part of the solution.
