Thinking about taking your car to the track for the first time? It can be both exciting and a little daunting. But don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

Here’s everything you need to know before your first Track Day Club experience.

  1. What to Bring
  • Helmet – Safety first! A properly rated  Australian or NZ standard AS/NZS1698 is required.
  • Clothing – Long sleeves, long pants are a must. Closed in shoes and socks are non-negotiable.
  • Car Prep – Check your tyre pressure, brake pads, and fluid levels before you arrive and empty all loose items from the cabin and boot.
  • Paperwork – Sign the waiver, have your license, and any required documents ready for sign in.
  • Essentials – Water, snacks, a tyre gauge, hat and sunscreen.
  1. What to Expect
  • Track Walk – Get familiar with the circuit up close and personal.
  • Driver Briefing – You’ll get a rundown of track rules, flags, and etiquette.
  • First Laps – Expect sighting laps to familiarise yourself with the track layout.
  • Track Time – We provide plenty of sessions so you can improve throughout the day.
  • Coaching & Support – We have 1:1 coaching available to help you gain confidence.

  • Start Slow – Build up speed gradually.
  • Be Smooth – Sudden inputs can unsettle your car.
  • Listen & Learn – Ask experienced drivers for tips and advice.
  • Have Fun – This is your chance to enjoy your car the way it was meant to be driven.
