Saturday the 9th of November was lit.
We welcomed in the new ERA – Track Day Club at One Raceway – What a day! Over 70 cars on track, perfect conditions, a sensational new track and whole lotta if fun! Where do we begin? With the cars, of course!
An amazing super rare Ultima GTR, not one but three GT4RS, two GT3RS and a beautiful early model 911 led the Porsche brigade. Every performance BMW known was represented. The JDM crew was rapted with a GR Yaris and the latest GR Corolla as well and the @topgarage Supra that took the time for the day.
There was amazing Audi’s, a majestic Maserati and a smorgasbord with Fiats, Mercedes and Alfas. The big bangers flexed their muscle with hometown heroes that included fantastic ford falcons, including a rare Holy Grail and hulkin’ Holdens from the 70’s, 80’s and extremely rare W427 and VF GTS’s and that’s not forgetting the yanks, with the Mustangs and the SRT! We were graced with a personal fav, to have Luke and the magic Monaro! While we are talking race cars, what a awesome field we had! Shakedowns, sponsorship launches, family and supporter passengers the day was epic!
To our Coaches and lap enhancers, Greg and Marty You two are legends! Thank you. We had you busy as you navigated a new track and gave it your all! Our TEAM, what a team! Professional, friendly and absolutely on point all day! THANK YOU! James, Karen, Sharkey, John, Liam, Tony, Jason and George, none of this is possible with each of you! An extra thank you to everyone who offered their help or assistance throughout the day, means lots!
